​I make abstract paintings and pottery inspired by moments, memories and the places we move through every day.  ​Often starting with just a few colour choices and letting the process of making take over from there.

Alongside painting, I use clay as another surface for mark-making, colour & texture.  ​I'm drawn to what feels honest rather than perfect. I want my work to create a sense of connection.

Working from studio in North Otago, amongst some of the most interesting landscapes of NZ, I love experimenting with a wide variety of mediums and genres.
